It equips young people with knowledge on climate change, decarbonization, and communication with 100 active participants aged 16-30, engaged in online activities, expert talks, and group projects from September to October.
Movers Academy 2024: Climate Action is an innovative program designed to empower Indonesian youth as effective advocates for climate change mitigation. This initiative, organized through a collaboration between Wastehub and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Indonesia, aims to equip young people with comprehensive knowledge of climate change, green jobs, decarbonization strategies, and effective communication techniques.
Movers Academy attracted 354 registered participants from across Indonesia, all demonstrating a strong interest in environmental issues and active engagement on social media platforms. From September to October, 100 passionate young people aged 16 to 30 from throughout Indonesia participated in a series of engaging online activities, insightful expert presentations, and collaborative group projects.
Our initiatives have empowered over 5,000 community members to adopt sustainable practices. Together, we are reducing waste and fostering a greener future.
